portas de santo antão
lisboa

It is next to the Coliseu dos Recreios, the Politeama Theater and the D. Maria II Theater that Casa Portuguesa do Pastel de Bacalhau takes to the stage among the stars. Until 1727, there were iron doors on this street that were removed to allow the majestic entry of the Marquis de los Balbazes, ambassador of Spain, into the city. With the earthquake of 1755, what remained of the door was definitively destroyed, but the municipality perpetuated it, naming the street in its honor. In warm shades of yellow and red, Casa Portuguesa do Pastel de Bacalhau also opens its doors to the world!
